SADIELADY
SadieLady must have been the personality type of Jardine that Qualkenbush meant when he referred to Jardines as the "Perfect Parrot". She is not big on words. She has her own language which includes the mysterious word, "Scorchy scorchy." (Could she mean, "Scratchy, scratchy."?) She says a very good, "Hi Guy!" which she learned from my husband. From her previous owners she learned the laugh of the Three Stooges.
She is big on cuddling and loves attention although she will not tolerate anyone scratching her under her wings. SadieLady is a little shy with new people even though she loves to meet them. Baked sweet potatoes, carrots, and broccoli are all favorites of hers. She takes vigorous baths in her water dish which she does with such enthusiasm that she upsets the other parrots.
Hey, you didn't even wait till I wiped the broccoli off my beak! No fair!
